Hello! Welcome! My name is Silvía Sif Ólafsdóttir and I was born in 1995 in a small town in Iceland. I graduated as a product designer from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic. Through my studies I had the chance to navigate and explore my interests within the field of product design. Later I realised that most of my projects revolve around man and nature, mans position and effects on the natural world and how things react to their surroundings, I am also quite obsessed with digital reality, digital waste and energy consumption (TMI). My work is usually highly research driven, I like complicated questions and trying to answer them in some way through my work. Recently I’ve mostly been working with visuals, videos and texts.
